Arnold's Letters Home: #2

Hello Everybody,

I got seven letters yesterday, all from the family.

Bob, Ginny, I got three ink pens that I needed too.

Ma, I got your letter too late when you told me about Ginny's card cause she wrote before you an said, thank you for the card, and I didn't know what she meant so I wrote and asked her, what card?

Well, thanks for sending one from me anyways. I'm not writing everyday to the family now, cuase theres nothing to write about except, I'm ok, so I write when I get letters and answer them. But if I don't get any mail for a few days I write anyway.

The batteries for my razor are called pen light batteries, send about 8. Write me when you receive the check so I'll know it got there. Seein where Ma has a new car tell Dad he can have the hundred bucks to help buy him a car. That old ford's bound to kick the bucket one day soon and he'd have to walk to work cause he won't drive chevys.

We're going on a fire mission tomorrow for 5 to seven days outside a village called Bon Long, so I might not have time to write for a while, all we're gonna do is surround the village cause they are voting now and the Viet Cong are trying to get in and force them to vote communist which I hope they vote 100 percent communist so we can get out of Vietnam.

Well time to go. Thank you for writing and keep em coming

Love,

 Arnold
